First post of 2012 woohoo
Rough character design sketch done as an exercise for fun for myself. Wanted to take the iconic DC characters and redesign them to fit in a more medieval antiquity world. Thinking what type of characters they would grow to be if they had to deal with the morals and ways of living of that era.
I saw Superman as the classic arthurian knight in shining armor. His logo would be more like a crest that symbolized power and weight of his clan or family.

Your artwork reminds me of an Elseworlds story named Superman: Kal, where Kal-El lands on Earth during the middle ages. 😊
